Sindh govt to rewrd assistant commissioners cars worth billions
With Pakistan is struggling economically, the Sindh government is likely to purchase car worth billions for its assistant commissioners.
According to ARY news, the provincial government is likely to send approximately Rs2 billion on new vehicles.
In this regard, Sindh’s general administration department has already sent a letter to the finance department for the release of Rs2 bln for the purchase of new double cabin vehicles.
It is reported that the current setup has 138 assistant commissioners.
The assistant commissioners will use the new vehicle for their day-to-day office work.
Earlier, the Punjab government’s decision to provide new vehicles to additional commissioners and other revenue officials was challenged in the Lahore High Court.
