4 terrorists killed in Balochistan’s Kech: ISPR
At least four terrorists, including a high-value target (HVT), were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in the Kech district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing reported on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation took place on the night of November 12-13 in the general area of Balgatar, following intelligence reports of terrorist activity in the region.
The ISPR detailed that during the operation, security forces engaged in a heavy exchange of fire with the terrorists, which resulted in the deaths of four militants.
Among those killed was identified as a key terrorist ring leader and a “focal recruitment agent” for the so-called Majeed Brigade in the region. Sana was reportedly involved in recruiting suicide bombers and was highly sought after by law enforcement agencies.
In addition to the fatalities, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site of the operation. The military also confirmed that a sanitization operation was underway in the area to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorist elements.
