Hezbollah launches attack on Israel’s military headquarters in Tel Aviv
Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it had launched a squadron of kamikaze drones in an aerial attack on the “Kariah” base, the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of War and the General Staff of the Israeli Armed Forces.
In a statement issued by the group, Hezbollah confirmed the strike on the Amos military base, located west of Afula, approximately 55 kilometers from the Lebanese border. The group claimed that the drones accurately hit their intended targets during the operation.
This marks the first time that Hezbollah has used a squadron of kamikaze drones in an attack on Israeli military infrastructure.
The Israeli military has not yet officially commented on the reported attack or its outcomes, including whether the strike caused casualties or significant damage to the base.
The attack comes amid heightened tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, with both sides continuing to engage in sporadic clashes along the border.
