Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul: Viewers face buffering issues on Netflix

16 November, 2024 09:10

Millions of viewers are facing buffering issues on Netflix as soon as the main event fight between boxing great Mike Tyson and YouTuber Jake Paul kicked off at the AT&T Stadium.

About 70,000 fans are at the AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, to see the legendary former world heavyweight champions return to the ring after 19 years.

It’s being dubbed as one of the biggest and most controversial fights of all time; however, ahead of the main bout, some fans took to X to complain about buffering issues on the site.

“If Netflix doesn’t fix this buffering issue, this will go down as one of the biggest fails in all of tv/streaming history,” one person wrote.

“I’d love to watch this live but I’ve seen the buffering logo more than any of the fights,” another added.

A third complained: “My images are grainy with frequent freezes and buffering. Even as I delayed the broadcast several seconds, the image still seems as if it is coming over a dial-up line.”

At the moment, Netflix declined for comment.
