Hezbollah chief says no agreement acceptable that is against Lebanon’s sovereignty
Naim Qassem, the head of Hezbollah, refused to accept any agreement on Israel’s violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty.
In a recorded video statement, the head of the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah said his organization would not accept any agreement that would violate Lebanon’s sovereignty.
Qassem further said that Hezbollah wants a complete and comprehensive end to the aggression, in which the sovereignty of Lebanon is also protected, adding it cannot be that the enemy Israel enters the territory of Lebanon whenever it wants.
The Hezbollah chief added that Israel cannot defeat us nor impose conditions on us.
Qassem also vowed response to recent Israeli strikes on Beirut would be on “central Tel Aviv,” Israel’s densely populated commercial hub.
On the other hand, media reports have stated that the American ambassador has also visited Beirut for a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah, in which he said that he saw a real opportunity to end the fighting.
