Iran says response to Israeli aggression ‘inevitable and definitive’
Iran’s foreign minister has said that the response to the recent Israeli aggression against Tehran is inevitable and definitive.
He added that the timing and method of the response will depend on suitable conditions.
Speaking to Lebanon’s Al-Mayadeen channel, Abbas Araghchi said that the Operation True Promise III will proceed as pledged.
The foreign minister said that the Zionist regime has sought to provoke Iran and drag it into a regional war. However, he added, Iran has acted very wisely to prevent itself falling into its trap.
Araghchi said that Iran’s response to Israel will be neither delayed nor hastened.
He, however, further said that the Iran will respond legally and in accordance with international law.
The foreign minister warned Israel against attacking Tehran’s nuclear sites. He added that Islamic Republic would respond in kind to such a mistake.
Araghchi rejected allegations about the vulnerability of Iran’s nuclear facilities and emphasised the strength of Tehran’s air defence systems. He warned Israel against any such attacks.
He also pointed to a rising consensus among regional nations to confront Israel’s actions.
He feared that the ongoing war on Gaza and broader Israeli policies could destabilise the entire region.
