Elephant Madhubala’s last day at Karachi Zoo?
After spending about 15 years at Karachi Zoo, the lonely elephant Madhubala will finally be bidding farewell to the zoo.
According to reports, Madhubala will be shifted to Safari Park tomorrow as part of a significant move overseen by Forepaaz and zoo authorities.
She will be sedated before being transported.
Zoo official Khurshid Alam confirmed that all necessary arrangements to move the animal have been finalized.
The relocation marks the end of Madhubala’s time at Karachi Zoo, where she has been a central attraction.
Officials have emphasized that the move is part of ongoing efforts to provide her with a more suitable habitat.
The decision to move Madhubala was made over a year ago.
At Karachi Safari Park, she will be able to enjoy mud baths, bathing in the large natural pool, and dusting herself in various types of soil.
After 15 years of separation from her sisters, Madhubala will finally be reunited with them. The three elephants will have all the time they need to bond once again in a safe environment, allowing them to thrive and flourish in their new home at Karachi Safari Park.
