Cold winds enter Karachi
The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Wednesday said cold winds started blowing in Karachi making the start of winter in the Port city.
The Meteorological Department said that the weather will remain hot during the day with the temperature to stay between maximum 22 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius.
The PMD said that the wind speed is blowing at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour from the north direction in Karachi, the humidity in the air is 70 percent.
According to the Air Quality Index, Karachi city’s air quality is poor, Karachi ranks tenth among the most polluted cities in the world, the amount of polluted particles in the air was recorded at 154 per centigrade meters.
At the end of the week, the temperature was already moving on the same pattern, with Sunday recording a minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 32.7 degrees Celsius.
The forecast also said that this cooling trend will continue outside Karachi, while similar cold nights are expected in other parts of rural Sindh.
