Surge in petrol prices on cards
Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to increase from December 1, local media reported Thursday.
According to reports, Rs4 per liter increase is on cards in the prices.
Sources say that the price of petrol is likely to see an increase by Rs3.15 per liter and the price of diesel is likely to go up to by Rs3.20 per liter.
Similarly, the price of kerosene oil is expected to surge by Rs4 per liter.
The Ministry of Petroleum will send the recommendations to the Federal Ministry of Finance and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will make the final announcement of the new prices after consultation with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
