PTI founder Imran Khan arrested in another seven cases

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan has been arrested in another seven cases in Adiala Jail.

Sources said that police have arrested Imran Khan in seven more cases related to Sept 28, Oct 4 and Oct 5 protests.

They added that the PTI founder has not been arrested so far in the cases concerning November 24 and November 28 protests.

The investigation officers (IOs) of the concerned police stations will seek a seven-day physical remand of the PTI founder from the court today. In this connection, arrest report has been submitted to the court.

Hearing on the petitions was held at Adiala Jail for which all the IOs have been directed to reach to the jail.

According to Prosecutor Amin Minhas, the physical remand of the PTI founder in the New Town Police Station case has completed while the same in other cases will be sought today.

PTI founder Imran Khan was booked in seven cases related to Sept 28, Oct 4 and Oct 5 protests.

The court will hear the New Town case first and later the GHQ attack case.

The judge observed that he would hear pleas related to six new cases after the hearing of the aforesaid two cases.
