A new leaked renders has once again hinted at Google Pixel-like camera island for the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max.

This time, the renders were made public in a video by Russian YouTube channel Wylsacom, which shows the first major design change since 2019.

The first major design change came from the company when they launched the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

They introduced the box found in the upper left corner of the rear panel, it has been continued since with minor adjustments.

The renders are based on rumors and leaks already made public. Other possible changes include replacing the titanium edges of the iPhone Pro models with aluminum.

The latter material will also replace the glass rear panel in some areas of the back panel.

The new iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to come with a 6.9-inch OLED display, a 12GB RAM under hood and could be equipped three 48MP camera sensors.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max should be powered by the 3nm A18 Pro. Originally it was hoped that the A18 and A18 Pro application processors would be produced by TSMC using its first-gen 2nm process node.

The phone is expected to debut in September 2025.
