Houthi says three dead in Israeli strikes on Yemen

Israel carried out strikes on Sana’a International Airport in Yemen that killed three people and wounded or missing 14 , according to media reports.

The Israeli military did not immediately offer comment on a request to respond.

Witnesses and the Houthi rebels said that multiple air raids targeted the airport- as well as a military air base and power station in Yemen.

Israeli military also targeted the Al-Dailami base along with a power station in Hodeida. The Houthis’ Al-Masirah TV channel called these attacks as “Israeli aggression”.

The rebels said in statements that three people were killed and 14 were left wounded or missing in Israeli attacks on Sanaa airport and other targets.

The group added that the two people died and 11 were injured at the capital’s airport, and one person was killed and three were missing at Ras Issa port.

On Saturday, a Houthi missile attack injured 16 people in Tel Aviv.

The incident had prompted a warning from Israeli Prime Minister, who said he had ordered the destruction of Houthi infrastructure.
