Pakistan’s exports have reached $16.5 billion during the first six months of the fiscal year 2024-25, reflecting a robust 10.52% increase compared to $14.9 billion during the same period last year, according to official data released on Monday.

In December 2024, exports touched $2.841 billion, a slight 0.28% increase over November’s figures, signaling consistent growth. Between July and November 2024, total exports amounted to $13.6 billion, showing a 12.5% year-on-year increase.

The positive export performance is being attributed to broader economic stabilization measures implemented by the government in the current fiscal year. The sustained growth of exports highlights the effectiveness of these policies in enhancing Pakistan’s external trade position.

The latest figures indicate a steady upward trend in Pakistan’s export sector, with monthly export values showing consistent improvement as the year progressed. The government’s initiatives aimed at boosting international trade engagement and strengthening Pakistan’s trade position appear to be paying off, contributing to overall economic stability.

The continued growth in exports provides a promising outlook for Pakistan’s external trade for the remainder of the fiscal year, supporting efforts to further integrate the country into the global economy.
