Gold prices go up in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan experienced another increase on Thursday, in line with global market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,300, reaching a new high of Rs278,300.
The 10-gram gold price also saw an upward adjustment, climbing Rs1,114 to settle at Rs238,597.
Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, gold prices had already recorded a Rs1,000 increase per tola, with the price reaching Rs277,000.
Internationally, the price of gold saw a slight rise, reaching $2,665 per ounce, marking an increase of $13, with a premium of $20 attached to the price. Silver prices, however, remained stable, holding at Rs3,350 per tola in the local market.
