Now AI-equipped police robot will catch criminals

In today’s modern age, robots are no longer a part of science fiction. From manufacturing and healthcare to transportation and education, robots are increasingly becoming an integral part of our daily lives.

Recently, China introduced a revolutionary AI-equipped spherical police robot capable of autonomous operation.

The spherical robot called RT-G has been developed by a robotics company called ‘Logon Technology’. Unlike Western models that are designed for surveillance, this Chinese robot is designed to pursue and capture suspects.

The footage shows RT-G robots patrolling city streets monitoring for criminal activity. They are designed to operate in high risk environments.

These advanced robots aim to assist and replace human officers in crime-related situations.

China has just developed a spherical police robot that can chase down criminals, throw traps and pick itself up even when falling from heights, Chengdu City’s official account wrote in a post on Instagram. It can move at a speed of 35 km per hour.
