Babar Azam could break Imran Khan’s record

Star Pakistan batter Babar Azam could break Imran Khan’s decades old record, when the Men in Green take on West Indies in two-match Test series.

The series will be played in Multan from Thursday. Here, Babar has a chance to break former captain Imran Khan’s record.

Imran Khan is Pakistan’s fifth highest run-scorer against the West Indies, scoring 1,977 runs against them.

Currently, Babar has scored 1,676 runs against the Windies. He just need 301 runs to surpass Imran Khan.

If Babar Azam manages to score 302 runs, he will enter in the top five batters list against the West Indies.

It should be noted that the two-Test series against the West Indies is Pakistan’s last series in the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
