Pakistan have defeated West Indies in the first Test by 127 runs at the Multan Cricket Stadium today.
Spinner Sajid Khan bagged five wickets to leave West Indies clueless while chasing 251 for victory in a battle in the World Test Championship.
Pakistan’s spinners bagged all the wickets in second innings of West Indies, with Noman Ali securing 1-42.
Alick Athanaze hit 55, the only half-century for the tourists, and added 41 runs for the 6th wicket with Tevin Imlach.
Sajid removed the dangerous Athanaze, while Abrar took the final wicket of Jomel Warrican.
Earlier, Warrican led the spin attack for the tourists with a career-best 7-32. Pakistan were bowled out for 157 runs in their second innings.
The Multan Test lasted less than eight sessions.
