Trump urges apology from bishop who appealed mercy for immigrants, LGBTQ

At the inauguration prayer ceremony of US President-elect Donald Trump in Washington, the pastor of the church appealed to Trump for “mercy”.
At Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, the pastor said: “These people work in our fields, keep our buildings clean, these people wash our dirty dishes in restaurants.”
The pastor said that these people may not be American citizens or have the necessary documents, but most of them are not criminals. They are people who are here because of wars and bad conditions in their countries.
At the end of the ceremony, the pastor asked Trump, “How do you think today’s service was?” To which Trump replied: “What do you think?” Did you like the service, the service was not good at all.
According to the news agency, the bishop said at the ceremony that Trump is sowing the seeds of fear among immigrants.
Later, US President Donald Trump, in a social media statement, demanded an apology from the bishop of the opening prayer ceremony in the church, saying that the pastor is against him and a right-wing extremist.
Trump said that the way the bishop spoke was offensive and he and his church should apologize to the public.
