US President Donald Trump has imposed new tariffs on major trading partners China, Canada and Mexico.

The US president has signed an executive order imposing tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico, making his threats a reality.

The Canadian authorities have been informed that a 25 per cent tariff has been imposed on goods exported to the United States from Tuesday, but this tax has been imposed on Canadian oil at 10 per cent.

Similarly, a 25 per cent tax has been imposed on goods exported from Mexico, while a 10 per cent tax has been imposed on goods sent from China to the United States.

The White House has also made it clear that if a country responds to the tariffs, it is also prepared to deal with it.

According to the American media, the stage has been set for a destabilizing trade war with this move by President Trump.
