French Joint Force commander confers medals on Pak Army Aviation pilots. They had rescued a French mountaineer from Nanga Parbat in 2018.

In this regard, a special Award Ceremony held in Rawalpindi today (Wednesday).

Commander of French Joint Force in Indian Ocean Rear Admiral Didier Malterre conferred France National Defence Bronze Medal upon brave pilots of Army Aviation.

Because, they took part in the daring rescue operation in January 2018.

A French Mountaineer Ms Elisabeth Revol had stuck at Nanga Parbat.

Pakistan Army Aviation pilots rescued the mountaineer on request of French embassy.
