Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has been ruling the film industry for three decades and has given many super hit films in his brilliant career.

The actor’s last two films (Pathan and Jawan) also did record breaking business but there was a point in his career when he took a break from acting after his film failed.

The King of Bollywood recently spoke about the failure of the 2018 film Zero and its impact on his career in an interview.

The superstar admitted in the interview that the failure of the film Zeroki had a deep impact on him due to which he thought of taking a break from films and that is the reason why after 2018 he returned to the film Pathan in 2023 after a gap of 5 years.

He said that after the failure of Zero, I was forced to think about my choice of film and career direction.

He further said that after Zero flopped in December, I was supposed to do a film in January. One morning I woke up and said I don’t want to go and shoot this film. I called the producer and I told them I don’t want to work for a year, he continued.

It should be noted that when Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan was released after a break of 5 years, it did a record-breaking business, but his next film Jawan also proved to be a super hit.
