AP Dhillon breaks silence on firing outside his Canada home

Famed rapper AP Dhillon breaks his silence on the recent attack outside his residence in Canada.

Taking to his Instagram stories hours after the attack, singer-rapper AP Dhillon assured his fans about his safety.

“I’m safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything,” Dhillon wrote in the text story. “Peace and love to all.”

Shots were fired outside the Vancouver home of singer-rapper AP Dhillon on Monday, with a video of the alleged shooting surfacing on social media.

The Lawrence Bishnoi Gang has claimed responsibility for the incident, which is currently under investigation by security agencies.

Reports said that Dhillon was targeted for “showing off” after collaborating with Salman Khan on a recent song.

Dhillon, a popular Punjabi singer, had announced his collaboration with Khan and Sanjay Dutt just days before the incident. The song was released on August 3.

This is not the first time the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang has targeted a celebrity, as they had previously fired shots outside Salman Khan’s home in Mumbai in April.

Bollywood star Salman Khan has received frequent death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has alleged that Khan hurt the religious sentiments of his community by killing a Black Buck in the early 2000s.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has listed Khan as one of the top targets of the gangster.
