Is Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi Hafiz-e-Quran?

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has given an explanation on the news of his being a Hafiz-e-Quran.

For some time now, there have been speculations on the Indian media including the social media about the Bollywood actor that he is a Hafiz-e-Quran, to which the actor has now responded.

These rumors started last year when Pakistani actress Humaima Malik said in an interview that Emraan Hashmi remembers some Quranic verses and he used to recite verses with her during the shooting of films.

However, a few days ago, Emraan Hashmi denied the news in this regard during a podcast, the video of which is viral on social media.

In response, the actor briefly said that there is no truth in these claims. It is not like that and he is not a Hafiz Qur’an, he cleared. To which, the Hindu host asked him to explain what this Hafiz Qur’an means?

To this, Emraan replied that Hafiz Qur’an means to read the Holy Book correctly without looking at it.
