Javed Akhtar calls Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan veteran

The famous writer and lyricist of Indian films, Javed Akhtar, has called the Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan a veteran.

The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2024 in Abu Dhabi was attended by many celebrities including Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, Murnal Thakur, Ananya Pandey, and Aishwarya Rai.

Meanwhile, Javed Akhtar was asked the question that which actor is the ‘Today’s Angry Young Man’ in the film industry? The Indian songwriter gave an interesting answer to this question. He said that there are many great actors at the moment, including Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Vicky Kaushal.

Asked whether Shah Rukh Khan is one of the ‘angry young men’, the writer replied that he does not belong to that generation as  he is now a veteran actor.

Shabana Azmi was asked which actress fits the definition of stardom in today’s era, to which she chose Alia Bhatt.

She further said that Alia Bhatt is the best actress.
