Jeans, T-shirts banned in This Pakistan varsity

The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has imposed a ban on all students wearing jeans, T-shirts, and jackets on campus.

“Both male and female students must adhere to the new guidelines, which are part of a broader effort to enforce discipline and maintain decorum within the institution,” the notification stated.

The notification read that male students are required to wear dress shirts and pants, while female students must wear modest clothing, with the additional requirement of taking a dupatta.

Strict action would be taken against students who fail to comply with the dress code, it added.
