Neither PTI held talks with PML-N nor any such wish in future: Barrister Gohar
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has said that the senior leadership of the party has neither held any negotiations with the Pakistan Muslim League-N, nor does it want to.
Speaking to local TV regarding the meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Barrister Gohar Ali said that there was no discussion on any negotiation process with Ayaz Sadiq.
He said that no PTI member of assembly is in contact with the PML-N leadership or leaders for negotiations. The PTI parliamentary party or senior leadership has not held any negotiations with the PML-N and there is no such desire, he added.
Gohar further said that various issues related to the proceedings of the National Assembly are discussed with the Speaker, however, PTI neither made any offer for talks nor asked for any favours.
Speaking to the media after the meeting of the PML-N parliamentary party yesterday, Khawaja Asif had said that he was not part of the committee formed to negotiate with the PTI leadership.
Asif said that he personally is not in favour of negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Apart from this, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that there can be no talks with PTI founder Imran Khan until he apologizes for the events of May 9.
