Shakib Al Hasan named in murder case

Legendary Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been named in a murder case along sider former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The 37-year-old, who is currently representing Bangladesh in two Tests against Pakistan, has been accused of being involved in the murder of Rubel Islam.

A formal complaint was filled by the victim’s father – Rafiqul Islam. Islam was reportedly murdered on August 5.

As reported by Bangladesh News 24, the complaint was lodged in the Adabor Police Station, and the confirmation of it came via Inspector Mohammad Nazrul Islam.

Apart from them, former Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan is also named among 156 names accused to be involved in the incident.
