USD to PKR: Dollar rate in Pakistan today
Pakistani rupee depreciates 18 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs278.52 against the previous day’s closing of Rs278.34.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs279.60 and Rs280.30 respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of Euro increased by Rs1.21 to close at Rs309.59 against the last day’s closing of Rs308.38, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went up by 01 paisa and closed at Rs1.90, whereas an increase of 76 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs362.59.
Gold rates in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan continue to rise as they reached a record-high in the country’s history today (Thursday).
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold in the country witnessed an increase or Rs800, after which gold stands at Rs261,800 per tola.
The association said that the price of 10 grams of gold also swelled by Rs686 as it is now being retailed at Rs224,451.
Silver remained stable at Rs2950 per tola.
It should be noted that the price of gold in Pakistan increased by Rs300 to Rs261,000 per tola on Wednesday.
