Ehsaas Emergency Cash program launched for those rendered jobless due to Coronavirus.

 

Prime Minister Imran Khan has formally launched Ehsaas Emergency Cash program today.

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar briefed the Prime Minister.

Officials said over Rs 3 billion have been collected so far in the Corona Relief Fund.

On the instructions of the Prime Minister, government will contribute four rupees for every rupee donated to the fund.

Donations to the relief fund as well as release of funds from it is being done in a transparent manner.

Imran Khan interacted with the affectees and listened to their problems and grievances and assured them to take every possible steps in resolving their issues.

Strict precautionary measures were observed on the occasion.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan said Modi’s Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) inspired extremist doctrine was very clear on Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).

He cited India has subjected Kashmiris to the worst human rights violations.

In series of tweets, he mentioned India deprived Kashmiris of their right to self-determination which the United Nations Security Council guaranteed.

He also noted the relentless oppressive and inhuman tactics.

Modi’s government was pursuing this policy in IOJ&K through illegal annexation and brutal use of force.
