After being found guilty of violating the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Code of Conduct during the Tri-eries final versus Sri Lanka on November 29, Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman was fined 10% of his match fee. According to an ICC press release on Friday, Zaman was judged to have violated Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with "showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match." His first infraction in a 24-month period has resulted in the addition of one demerit point to his disciplinary record.
