He condoled over deaths in the crash of a passenger plane in Karachi.
Wang Yi expressed sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families.
He said the Chinese people are firmly standing together with the Pakistani people at this sad moment.
A Pakistan International Airlines aircraft, Air Bus, A-320 crashed in Karachi on the last Friday of Ramazan (Jummatul Widaa).
The aircraft took off from Lahore and crashed minute before landing in Karachi.
Radio Pakistan reported ninety-nine passengers on board.

Meanwhile, Safety Investigation Board would probe PIA plane crash in Karachi.
Chief Executive Officer PIA Air Marshal (Retd.) Arshad Malik said this, while addressing a news conference in Karachi.
Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said the Government will bear all the expense for the repairing and restoration of the damaged houses.
He also compensatory amount for the victimsd.
The minister announced that each injured person will get Rs500,000.
Authorities confirm 97 deaths in PIA plane crash while two survived miraculously.
Meanwhile, Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar said inquiry report of the PIA plane crash incident will be compiled in shortest possible time.
He said this, while addressing news conference in Karachi this afternoon.
