Minister Fawad wants end to banned TLP protest march forthwith.

Federal; Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain opposed banned outfit’s protest.

He was talking to media outside Election Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday.

Furthermore, he said that the so-called long march of a banned organisation was causing problems. Therefore, its protest should end at the earliest.

He said that the Federal Cabinet would have a detailed discussion on the issue and make a detailed strategy.

Fawad noted it ironic that those claiming them followers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) were causing problems for the common man.

Moreover, he said that such protest marches should end now.

The Minister also spoke on the T20 World Cup matches.

He said that the nation has received good news first trouncing India by record 10 wickets and then New Zealand yesterday.

He recalled defeating India and noted it a special event because Pakistan cricket had emerged from the crisis after 2009 attack on Sri Lankan team.

However, India had pumped billions of rupees in its cricket since then.

Similarly, he said that the New Zealand’s issue security must have been resolved now.

While answering a question he said he had come to ECP.

However, he assured to share details when the matter would proceed further.
