PPP won’t be part of Cabinet currently: Kundi
Pakistan People’s Party Spokesperson Faisal Karim Kundi has said that the party would not be a part of the Cabinet at present and the formation of the same is at the discretion of Shehbaz Sharif.
Faisal Karim Kundi while speaking to local TV said that the governors of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be from the Pakistan People’s Party, while those of Sindh and Balochistan will be from the PML-N.
He said that in politics we cannot write a 5-year contract. Currently, the Pakistan People’s Party will not be a part of the Cabinet. PPP will vote for the prime minister, vote of confidence and vote for the Speaker. We will support the government in legislation. We will criticize for the sake of correction, we will not criticize for the sake of criticism, he cleared.
Kundi further said that right now people’s eyes are on the budget and the IMF. If we feel the government is helpless then we will support it. A committee of both parties is also being formed on working relationship.
The PPP leader further said that Shehbaz Sharif would be the prime minister and it will be his discretion as to whom to make a part of the Cabinet. It is not our problem to include anyone in the Cabinet, Kundi added.
He said that the experience of 16 months in PDM was not good. Now Shehbaz Sharif has to lead, we hope he will lead in a better way, he said.
