NA suspends Tariq Bashir Cheema

The National Assembly has suspended PML-Q legislator Tariq Bashir Cheema for today’s session over his alleged abusive behavior with PTI leader  Zartaj Gul Wazir.

Earlier, PML-Q lawmaker Cheema delivered a speech in the assembly, in which he was interrupted by Zartaj Gul. She  asked Cheema to talk about the Bahawalpur University case instead. Later, Zartaj Gul passed more remarks that reportedly made the PML-Q MNA angry and he went to Gul’s seat and whispered something in her ear. To which, members of the PTI-SIC rushed tow­a­rds the treasury benches to physically attack Cheema. However, the PML-Q lawmaker was escorted out by some treasury MNAs.
