Karachi to face gas suspension tomorrow; check if your area is affected

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Tuesday announced suspension of gas supply in various areas of Karachi due to repair work.
According to the notification issued here, consumers in selected areas of Karachi and Balochistan would face a temporary disruption in the gas supply tomorrow (Wednesday) due to repair work of a pipeline.
The gas supply disruption will take place from 9am till 6pm evening.
The areas where gas supply would be suspended include Airport Road, Kutch Nasiran, Chashma, Nawan Kali, Alamo Chowk, Kali Barat, Jinnah Town, Shehbaz Town, Kali Ismail, PAF Base, Khizhi, A-One City, Bruri Road, Hazarganji, Baleli, Kali Khizan, Pishin, Kuchlak, Yaro and Ziarat.
Back in June, areas of the port city saw 12 hours suspension of gas due to installation of a new pipeline.
Moreover, gas outages also occurred in areas of Lahore during summer.
