WATCH: Sridevi Chowk inaugurated in Mumbai 6 years after legend’s death

A chowk named after late versatile Bollywood actress Sridevi has been inaugurated in Mumbai by  her husband and daughter.

A square named after the late actress in Lokhandwala area of ​​Mumbai was unveiled by her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor on the occasion of Dussehra.

Actress Shabana Azmi was also present at the inauguration ceremony. Boney and Khushi inaugurated the road junction named after late Sridevi as a tribute. Photos and videos of the event are going viral on social media.

In a video posted by a paparazzi photographer on Instagram, Boney Kapoor can be seen removing the veil from Sridevi’s photo.

On this occasion, Boney Kapoor also touches his wife’s picture while Khushi stands beside him looking emotional while Sridevi Kapoor Chowk is written on the plaque.

Remember that in 2018, Sridevi’s body was found in the washroom of a hotel in the United Arab Emirates where she was staying with her family.
