Israel accepts US proposal to extend Gaza ceasefire

Israel has approved a US proposal to temporarily extend the Gaza ceasefire deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office said in a statement that the ceasefire had been approved to be extended during the Jewish festival in the middle of Ramazan and April.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, half of the live or dead hostages will be handed over to Israel on the first day of the ceasefire.
There has been no immediate response from Hamas or the mediators of the ceasefire agreement in response to the announcement by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.
It should be noted that the first phase of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas was completed yesterday.
