Nadra adds new features in Pak ID App

NADRA has released a new version (3.8.1) of its Pak ID Mobile App, introducing several features to make identity document services more accessible and user-friendly, according to a private TV channel report on Sunday.

One of the key updates is the facial recognition verification system. This is especially helpful for senior citizens or individuals who are unable to provide fingerprints. Now, users can complete their identity verification using facial recognition if fingerprints are not available.

The app also now allows users to apply for an ID card or NICOP using their B-form, making it easier for more citizens to access these services. Additionally, the process to edit or update ID card details has been simplified in the latest version, making corrections faster and more convenient.

Another notable feature is the introduction of a digital identity card, allowing users to store their ID card digitally on their smartphones. This feature improves both security and ease of access for users who need their ID on the go.

With these new tools, NADRA aims to modernize identity services and provide better digital access to government facilities for Pakistani citizens.
