HTV/PSV License Applicants Get Relief – Check Details

Following recent modifications to driving tests, Pakistan’s prospective commercial drivers now have relief. The duration of commercial driving exams has been extended in order to provide drivers some relief. Under the direction of Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah, Headquarters came to the decision.

According to the new guidelines, only the provincial capital would see changes made during the first phase. There will be eighteen LTV/PSV (Light and Passenger Service Vehicle) commercial driving exams per month instead of the current ten.

License Update

These tests will now be conducted on Fridays and Saturdays in addition to Mondays and Tuesdays in an effort to make things more convenient for the general public.

Additionally, there will be additional HTV/PSV (Heavy Transport Vehicle/Passenger Service Vehicle) driving examinations. There will now be ten tests per month instead of just five, and they will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays without interruption.

The move was taken to make the process more accessible for prospective drivers and in response to the rising demand for commercial driving permits. Mirza Farhan Baig, Additional IG Traffic, stated that the extra test days were intended especially to improve citizen convenience and provide a more seamless environment.
