Sikandar in hot water: Salman Khan slammed for wearing a Ram Mandir watch

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has landed in a new controversy over wearing a watch of Ram Mandir (Ram Janmabhoomi) built after the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
Two days ago, Salman Khan shared his pictures on social media to promote his upcoming film ‘Sikandar’, in which he wore a ‘Epic X Ram Janmabhoomi Titanium Edition 2’ watch.
According to Indian media, only 49 sets of this limited edition watch are available in the world, out of which Salman Khan has one. The price of this watch is 3.4 million Indian rupees, which is more than 11 million in Pakistani rupees.
In an interview, Salman Khan said that this watch was gifted to him by his mother Salma Khan.
On the dial of this watch, there is a detailed image of the temple of Ayodhya, there are pictures of Lord Ram, Hanuman and other deities of Hindu religion in the clock, Jai Shri Ram is also clearly written on the dial.
According to Indian media, the design of this watch highlights the ‘cultural and historical importance’ of Ram Janmabhoomi.
All India Muslim Party (AIMIM) president Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi has said that the ram janmabhoomi edition clock is made for the promotion of ram temple and it is not permissible for any Muslim to wear it.
Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi said that many people have asked him questions in this regard, Salman Khan is a famous Indian personality and he has millions of Muslim fans, he should avoid activities that are considered un-Islamic and he should repent for it.
