Network involved in Darul Uloom Haqqania and Bannu Cantt attacks traced: KP IGP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General Zulfiqar Hameed said that the network involved in the attacks on Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak and Bannu Cantt has been traced.

IGP Zulfiqar Hameed said that important evidence has been found in both the cases and many people have been detained in connection with both the incidents.

Hameed further said the details would be shared after further arrests.

It may be recalled that six people, including JUI-S chief Maulana Hamidul Haq, were martyred in a suicide attack at Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak in Nowshera, while in the attack on Bannu Cantt, security forces killed 16 Khawarij and six soldiers of the forces were also martyred in the encounter.
