Woman Leaves a Note for Workmen – Internet Can’t Stop Laughing

A woman’s hilarious battle with a stubborn wine bottle has gone viral and left people online both laughing and feeling her pain.

On April 8, TikTok user @charlotte95c shared a video showing a funny note she left for workers in her house. Right next to a wine bottle with a jammed cork and opener, she wrote, “Please can you open this bottle for me? I have been trying for days! Thank you xx.”

The video quickly gained over 140,000 views, and people loved the idea.

Sadly, even the contractors couldn’t open the bottle, and Charlotte later shared that the cork was still stuck, calling it “the saddest results.”

Commenters were quick to offer tips and advice. Some suggested pushing the cork in with a spoon or using an electric bottle opener. A few bartenders even gave step-by-step instructions for how to pop out a stuck cork.

Others shared their own funny stories. One person remembered leaving a spider under a glass for an electrician to remove!

After several days of trying, Charlotte finally succeeded on April 11. She posted an update proudly announcing her victory, and her followers cheered her on.

Tip for Stuck Corks:

If you ever face a similar problem, try pushing the cork into the bottle using the handle of a wooden spoon or chopstick. If you want to remove it fully, use a corkscrew or a two-pronged opener to gently pull it out.
