Famous Pakistani digital media content creator and Punjabi film actress Jannat Mirza recently opened up about coping with emotional pain after a breakup. Taking to Instagram, she shared heartfelt advice with her followers on how to let go of hurt and betrayal.
In a video message posted on her official account, Jannat introduced herself as a “love guru” and offered a simple yet powerful strategy for emotional healing. Speaking to her fans, she said that the first step in moving forward is to forgive those who have wronged you. “If someone betrays you or treats you badly in any way, the first step is to forgive them from your heart.” She stressed that without forgiveness, true emotional and mental healing is not possible.
She further added, “This is an absolute truth,” and quoted Hazrat Ali (RA), saying, “Never test someone who has already been tested.” Jannat concluded her message by encouraging her fans to embrace forgiveness in order to move on in life: “If you truly want to move on in life, forgive those who have hurt you.”
Meanwhile, Jannat recently faced criticism online after refusing to comment on the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. When asked by a journalist at a public event to share her views, she chose to respond with a hand gesture signaling silence, instead of giving a statement.
Her silent response sparked mixed reactions, with some social media users accusing her of avoiding the topic to protect her popularity and digital presence in India, where she has a considerable following.
