Iran arrests 26 more Israeli agents After Ceasefire

26 June, 2025 13:52

Tehran, June 26, 2025 – Iran’s intelligence services have arrested 26 people accused of collaborating with Israel, just days after a ceasefire between the two countries came into effect.

According to Fars News Agency, the arrests were made by the Intelligence Organization of the Hazrat Vali Asr Corps. These individuals were allegedly involved in spying, anti-security activities, spreading fear among the public, and acts of sabotage.

The agency stated, “Most of them have confessed to their actions,” and described them as either operatives or deceived participants during the recent conflict with Israel.

This development follows a major statement from Israel’s military chief Eyal Zamir, who claimed that Israeli commandos secretly operated inside Iran during the recent 12-day war.

Speaking in a televised address, Zamir said: “We had full control over Iranian airspace and carried out missions wherever we chose.”

He credited Israel’s air force and ground units for using tactical deception to enable the operations. Zamir added that support from US intelligence helped them achieve their mission goals.

Meanwhile, Iran executed three men on Wednesday accused of spying for Israel. Iran has a long history of arresting and executing individuals accused of working with foreign intelligence, especially Mossad, Israel’s spy agency.

Tehran also recently reported it had shut down a Mossad-operated drone factory in Tehran, further escalating tensions even after the ceasefire.

Despite the agreement, both Iran and Israel are claiming victory in the conflict that officially ended Tuesday.
