Who Is Nyla Raja? Influencer Responds to Affair Rumors With Cricketer Imad Wasim

20 July, 2025 21:40

Nyla Raja, a Pakistani Instagram influencer, has spoken out against rumors linking her with national cricketer Imad Wasim. The rumors started after a video went viral online. Some social media users claimed it showed Imad walking with Nyla Raja, raising questions about his marriage with Sania Ashfaq.

Nyla Breaks Silence

On Saturday, Nyla posted a message on her Instagram story. She denied all the claims and called them “baseless.” She said the matter had nothing to do with her and was “deeply personal” for the cricketer’s family.

“How on earth can a simple, harmless story lead to someone’s divorce?” she asked. Nyla was referring to the video clip that started the whole controversy.

What Was in the Viral Video?

The video was filmed outside a glasses store. It appeared to show Imad Wasim walking beside a woman believed to be Nyla Raja. The clip spread quickly on social media.

Nyla explained that the video was first posted by her on her public Instagram story. She said it was a normal, public outing and others were also there. She claimed someone zoomed in to show only one angle, which created false stories.

Nyla Defends Herself

Nyla said people should stop targeting women without proof. She wrote, “At the end of the day, I’m also a woman. Please be mindful.”

She made it clear that she wants no part in this issue and is not involved in any way in Imad Wasim’s personal life.

No Comment From Imad Wasim

So far, Imad Wasim and his wife Sania Ashfaq have not spoken publicly about the situation. There is no official statement from either side.

Nyla’s response, however, shows that she wants to end the rumors and move on.
