US President to Impose More Tariffs on India, ‘Godi Media’ in Panic

Indian media has reacted strongly to US President Donald Trump’s tough economic policies targeting India, signaling cracks in the US-India trade relationship. The so-called ‘Godi media’ has fiercely criticized the US President following the announcement of significantly higher tariffs on India.

According to Indian media reports, President Trump has declared the imposition of substantially increased tariffs on Indian imports. The response from Indian outlets has been harsh, describing Trump as “shamelessly lost in arrogance” and criticizing his policies as damaging.

Indian media outlets have listed numerous reasons to label Trump as incompetent. They also noted that psychological analysis of the US President has become a growing business worldwide.

Trump’s recent statements have reportedly shattered the self-created image cultivated by Modi’s media. The announcement of additional tariffs on India has exposed the weaknesses of Modi’s economic policies.

Despite India’s claim to be the world’s third-largest economy, it has been unable to withstand the US tariff war. Indian media has accused ‘Godi media’ of covering up Modi’s diplomatic failures, stating that the media’s actions have led to India’s global embarrassment.

In their criticism, ‘Godi media’ has begun labeling President Trump as mentally ill, arrogant, and incompetent. They argue that Trump’s policies have unveiled the false economic superiority claimed by Modi’s government.
