His 16-year-old son, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, has officially been cast in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming sci-fi blockbuster. The film will mark Nakoa-Wolf’s acting debut, and no one seems more excited than his proud father.

Who is Nakoa-Wolf Momoa?

Nakoa-Wolf Momoa is the youngest child of Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet. He was born in 2008 and is now 16 years old. He has an older sister, Lola Iolani Momoa, and has mostly grown up away from the Hollywood spotlight.

Despite his low-key lifestyle, his parents have often shared glimpses of his personality. Lisa once revealed that at age nine, Nakoa-Wolf answered a deep question about life by saying, “To protect Mother Earth, of course. But God also wants to play with Mother Earth.” She called it one of her proudest mom moments.

In the movie, he plays Leto II, one of the twin children of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya). Filming took place in Budapest, with Jason proudly watching his son on set. “He just killed it. I was a wreck, just crying,” Jason admitted.

For now, Dune: Part Three is his only confirmed project. However, given his debut in such a huge franchise, fans expect to see more of Nakoa-Wolf in future films. With talent, a supportive family, and Hollywood buzz already around him, his acting career may just be beginning.
