Former Try Guys member Ned Fulmer has opened up about the cheating scandal that derailed his career and marriage three years ago. According to a TMZ report published on September 16, Ned and his wife, Ariel Fulmer, are no longer together.

The pair will revisit the controversy in Ned’s upcoming podcast, Rock Bottom. Speaking with People Magazine, Ned admitted that “the conversation was so brutal at times that we wanted to get up and walk out of the room,” while Ariel described the experience as “terrifying.” Despite their separation, the couple recently traveled to Greece with their two sons, Wesley and Finn.

The scandal first broke in September 2022, when The Try Guys—Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, and Eugene Lee Yang—announced Ned’s exit. “Ned Fulmer is no longer working for the Try Guys. As a result of an internal review, we do not see a path forward together,” the group stated at the time. Shortly after, Ned admitted to having a “consensual workplace relationship,” acknowledging that “family should have always been my priority.”

In the aftermath, Ned and Ariel pursued couples therapy. Ned later shared, “It’s certainly stronger than it was before. We have a much clearer sense of boundaries … Every cent that we spent on therapy was worth it.”

The YouTuber also addressed his former persona as a “wife guy,” acknowledging that it intensified public reaction: “I understand that that’s why it was such a big scandal — because it’s ironic and it feels like a rug pull to people.”

Both Ned and Ariel have since agreed to step back from the public spotlight, with Ariel choosing to reduce her presence on social media and the couple committing to keep their children out of public attention.
