PM Laptop Scheme 2025: Step-by-Step Guide to Check Your Application Status

The Government of Pakistan has officially launched the PM Laptop Scheme 2025 for university and college students across the country.

According to officials, this initiative is designed for students belonging to financially struggling families who cannot afford laptops. The scheme aims to help them attend online classes, pursue freelancing, and carry out research activities.

However, many applicants often remain uncertain about whether their request has been approved or rejected. To address this, the government has introduced an online verification system where students can check their application status with just a few clicks.

How to Check Your Application Status:

• Visit the official website of the PM Youth Program.
• Enter your CNIC (National Identity Card) number.
• Select your university or college.
• The system will immediately display your application status — approved, under review, or rejected.

Required Documents for Application:

• A valid CNIC or a NADRA-verified B-form.
• Student ID card or proof of enrollment from the university.
• Latest academic transcript.
• Updated personal details in the university’s database.

Authorities have clarified that even approved applications may face delays in laptop distribution. Common reasons include incorrect CNIC, inactive mobile numbers or email addresses, outdated academic records, or multiple applications under the same CNIC.

If a student’s name does not appear in the list, they are advised to contact the focal person at their respective university or file a complaint through the PM Youth Program helpline.
