Selena Gomez Marries Benny Blanco in California with Star-Studded Guest List
Selena Gomez has officially married music producer Benny Blanco in a stunning wedding held Saturday night at a private 70-acre plantation north of Santa Barbara, California.
The Only Murders in the Building actress, 33, shared a collection of romantic photos on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into the weekend celebrations. The festivities began with an intimate rehearsal dinner on Friday and culminated in a lavish outdoor wedding on Saturday.
In the photos, Gomez and Blanco, 37, were seen embracing on the sunlit lawn of the Sea Crest Nursery, the site of their nuptials. The bride wore a backless white gown with ruffled floral detailing and ruched accents, paired with sparkling Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings. She styled her dark hair in a soft bob, completing her look with minimal makeup and white nail polish. Blanco complemented her in a classic black Ralph Lauren tuxedo, a printed blue shirt, and a matching pocket square.

One heartwarming photo showed Blanco resting his head on Gomez’s lap as her gown flowed elegantly around her. Another captured the couple walking barefoot across the field, hand in hand, bathed in golden California sunlight. Gomez captioned her post with a simple red heart emoji, while Blanco commented, “my wife in real life.”
The wedding guest list reflected Gomez’s Hollywood stature, with approximately 170 attendees including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Martin Short, and Paris Hilton. Swift, who previously joked she would serve as Gomez’s “flower girl,” flew in from Kansas City on Friday and stayed at the Rosewood Miramar resort in Montecito. Her fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce, was unable to attend due to a scheduled Kansas City Chiefs game.
The rehearsal dinner took place the night before at a 10-bedroom mansion in Goleta’s Hope Ranch neighborhood. Photos showed the couple sharing a kiss under twinkling lights as friends and family toasted the newlyweds.
On Saturday, guests were transported to the clifftop venue in a fleet of black Mercedes vans and shielded by umbrellas as they exited. The dress code was flexible: women wore full-length gowns or chic cocktail dresses, while men opted for tuxedos, colored ties, or open collars, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
Lavish marquees decorated with flowers and fairy lights set the tone for a magical evening. Security around the site was reportedly tight, with sources estimating that Gomez spent over $300,000 to ensure privacy and safety.
The wedding marked the culmination of the couple’s whirlwind romance, which became public in 2023. Gomez announced their engagement in December with the Instagram caption, “Forever begins now.” The pair first met in 2019 but rekindled their relationship while collaborating on Gomez’s 2023 single Single Soon. Blanco described their relationship as “the safest and most loving relationship I’ve ever been in.”
